At Mary Glowrey, we are deeply committed to embedding Vision for Instruction as part of our commitment to MACS 2030. We will implement the evidence-based Explicit Instruction sequence to guarantee clarity and depth in all lessons:

Explicit Instruction: Teachers will consistently and clearly explain the concepts and skills students need to learn, ensuring no knowledge is assumed. This moves students beyond passively receiving information to actively engaging with it.

Guided Practice: Students will have multiple opportunities to practice new skills with timely and specific feedback from teachers, allowing them to consolidate understanding and work independently.

Independent Practice: Once students demonstrate mastery, they will apply their knowledge to complete tasks and deepen their understanding.
